The Chase
Winemaking is a timeless bond between earth and instinct—natural, physical, spiritual. For millennia, the natural order has inspired philosophers and dreamers, reminding us that our destinies lie beyond control.
The Fates, ancient goddesses of destiny, spun and wove the threads of human life. In winemaking, it is nature—not man—that shapes greatness. The pursuit of extraordinary wine is a dance with uncertainty, demanding resilience, obsession, and surrender.
Fates’ Lieutenant honors this ancient pursuit.

The Fates Gathering in the Stars. Elihu Vedder, 1887
This whole act's immutably decreed. 'Twas rehearsed by thee and me a billion years before this ocean rolled...
Fool! I am the Fates' lieutenant;
I act under orders.
— Herman Melville's Captain Ahab
