Jeff Wooledge

We all have moments when the path forward becomes suddenly clear. For Jeff Wooledge, a Midwest native working a corporate job, that moment came in 2020 when the world shifted and new possibilities opened up. Wine had always intrigued him, but California seemed like another world entirely. Then a generous friend offered Jeff the chance to join harvest in Sonoma County. Something about the timing felt right—not predetermined, just right. What started as an adventure became something deeper. Jeff discovered he had an intuitive understanding of the craft: the patience for long hang times that develop complexity, the appreciation for what coastal breezes and extended seasons could coax from the grapes. But rather than leave his Midwest roots, he chose to honor both worlds.

Guided by fate, crafted by instinct.

Today, Jeff splits his time between Michigan, where family and friends keep him grounded, and Santa Barbara County, where he sources exceptional organically and biodynamically farmed grapes from coastal vineyards. It's an unconventional approach that reflects his belief that the best wines come from following your instincts rather than following the crowd—and from respecting the land that provides extraordinary fruit. The name draws inspiration from Greek mythology's three Fates—the sisters who wove the threads of everyone's life story. The artwork on our bottles, inspired by Elihu Vedder's "The Fates Gathering in the Stars," captures that sense of connection between earth and sky, home and calling.  We're not rewriting the rules of winemaking—we're writing our own chapter. These wines are for those who understand that the most interesting paths are often the ones you create yourself.

California grown, Midwestern rooted.
